If you want to give your French an intensive boost while discovering the Normandy far from the beaten tracks, this course is for you.

 

We offer 2 options:

 

  • Private ‘ à la carte ‘ courses over one or several days : ideal for one person, a couple or a small group (with your friends or relatives).
  • Long weekend group courses: join a small group for 3 intensive days.

Normandy French Tuition is happy to accompany you  from 9.30am to 4.30pm.         You are totally independent out of these times to enjoy the local surroundings   and have a rest after an intensive day.

 

  • PRIVATE ‘A LA CARTE’ COURSES

LANGUAGE HOLIDAY for 1 person, a couple or a small group.

 

This option is the most flexible and intensive way of learning French quickly.

 

Each course is bespoke just for you or your group, You can choose the dates, duration, the number of your fellows, pace and content to suit you.

 

Lessons :

 

  • Flexible from 9.30am to 4.30pm according to your requirements.
  • At FormaScape in the centre of Flers.
  • All levels : from beginner to advanced.
  • Your tutor will put together a programme tailored to your needs and level

with interactive conversational activities which focus on speaking and    listening skills.

  • All course materials
  • Each student receives an assessment test by e-mail before the course.

 

Activities and local excursions :

 

  • After a lunch break with delicious French cuisine, you are proposed enjoyable activities in the afternoon (various visits, tastings, cooking, at a local market… all conducted in French).
  • We can also combine your language immersion with a private tour of must-see places in Normandy.

Accommodation:

 

  • FormaScape can recommend several local comfortable hotels and chambres d’hôtes (B&B) close by. We’ll be happy to make the bookings for you.

 

Private transportation services :

 

  • to and from your accommodation, Caen Carpiquet and Dinard airport, Ouistreham port local train stations.
  • We can also drive you around when visiting the local area.

– One person (in bold)

– Course : 5 days from 9.30am to 4.30pm 

-Including tuition and /or local cultural visits with a unique and personal tutor and guide.

-Price: from 1900€pp

-This price includes tuition, all course materials, lunches and drinks, local transportation, visits, activities and entrance fees.

-Not included: local accommodation, breakfast and diners, extra and personal expenses, travel cost to Normandy.

  • LONG WEEKEND GROUP COURSE

LANGUAGE GROUP HOLIDAY for 1 person, a couple in a small group (maximum 5 people).

 

This option is the quickest & most intensive way of learning French at a reasonable price and in a convivial small group.

            Lessons: 3 mornings from 9.30am to 12pm with refreshments

  • Intensive programme combining language, culture and art de vivre.
  • Small group (no more than 5 people) so that each student can receive the maximum attention and have the opportunity to express him/herself.
  • Wide range of French grammar, pronunciation and accent, comprehension and conversation topics according to your needs and level.
  • This course is not suitable for total beginners. Each student receives an assessment test by email before enrolling them on a course to ensure that everyone is placed in a group at a suitable level.
  • All course materials provided.
  • In a large seminar room at your hotel restaurant.

 

 

 

 

Activities and visits: 3 afternoons from 1.45pm to 4.30pm

  • Cultural activities and visits are all conducted in French so that you can apply your listening and speaking skills.
  • Pear and apple museum with Calvados and cider tastings, Biscuit factory, local market with cheese tasting, William the Conqueror’s castle, museum of the Civilians during the WWII.
  • All the visits have language targets. We prepare them and discuss them afterwards from the new vocabulary acquired during the visits.

  • at a French Hotel Restaurant in the centre of Flers, an ideal place to walk to all shops, cinema, park, cafés in your free time or to rest after a busy day.
  • Modern and quiet single or double bedrooms with free wifi, TV, desk, private bathroom.
  • The restaurant : excellent French Norman cuisine.

 

Private transportation services :

 

  • to and from your hotel, Caen Carpiquet and Dinard airport, Ouistreham port and local train stations.

  • Course : 3 days (from Friday to Sunday) from 9.30am to 4.30pm including 3 mornings of tuition, 3 afternoons of activities/visits in French.
  • Arrival : Thursday evening / Departure : Sunday from 4pm
  • Package price:

– for an individual:    1500 € pp

– for a couple :         1300€ pp

– for non residential:   950€ pp

  • This price includes tuition, all course materials, meals with wine, refreshments, 3 night accommodation, local transportation and entrance fees.
  • Not included: extra drinks, extra and personal expenses, travel cost to

Flers, Normandy.

  • A non-returnable 30% deposit is required at the time of the booking.

(payment by French cheque or bank transfer).

 

  • The balance is payable by French cheque, bank transfer or cash at your

 

  • A loyalty 5% discount is offered to our returning clients.

 

  • In case of cancellation of the reservation by the Client the following fees will be applied: 30% of the total amount (= the deposit).

 

  • Students must take out full insurance in order to cover all risks (theft, accident, illness etc) during their stay and also during transportation between FormaScape and their accommodation, in their accommodation, during courses, excursions, social activities. FormaScape is not responsible for any incidences that occur during students’ stay. FormaScape has taken all necessary safeguards with ALLIANZ insurance company to cover all risks associated with operating its own commercial activities.
